Description

The ”Chamogelo tou Paidiou” (Smile of the Child) from its foundation until today implements actions aimed at the holistic treatment of any form of Violence against children. This is achieved through a variety of services that extend to three main axes: Prevention, Intervention and Treatment.

It also implements actions aimed at preventing and dealing with health problems faced by children with teams of specialists (Social Workers, Psychologists, Doctors, Nurses, Rescuers, Art Education Specialists) supporting:

    • patient child

    • hospitalized child

    • child preventive medicine services

    • as well as the child’s family.

The integrated network of health and social counseling services is provided free of charge, nationwide, daily, 24 hours a day to all children who are in Greece, regardless of nationality and religion.
