The Hellenic Red Cross is the largest humanitarian organization in Greece with a composite project based on voluntary activity and direct response of the society. It’s always aiming to alleviate the human suffering during war and peace periods, supporting wounded, sick, refugees, elderly, people with financial difficulties and every vulnerable group of the population.
Its action is associated with vigilance, solidarity and philanthropy and is synonymous to non profit offer and selflessness. Since 1877, the Hellenic Red Cross continues to carry out its humanitarian project, taking care of the most vulnerable groups of the population. In cooperation with other state and non-state organizations, the Hellenic Red Cross stands for every individual, family or group who faces difficulties without setting any racial, ethic or financial limits in its actions
